The Son Rise

Posted by: by Pippinincarnate

Inspired by Eastern Orthodox Icons, this shows the royal family of the eastern kingdom. They are a family plagued by misforune, despite their popularity amongst thier subjects. The boy, Svolas (top centre) must now take the place of his father the king who was killed in an unjestified war that was waged by their kingdom. These are original characters of mine that live in that little fanasy world inside my head. This is not for sale, but I'd be happy to accept commissions. Thank you!

Fall from Grace

Posted by: Frank Cid

I wrote this one day after watching the Katrina disaster, just felt bad about it and for the people, so if you listen to the music, everything seems calm then the song breaks, there's some storm ambience, chanting and then the song continues.

About Buffalo, New York

The Blizzard of 1977? Buried houses? Ah. Memories. Even thinking about the scene wears me out. But, on the other hand, there’s spring with the beautiful trees in bloom. What a contrast!

Even though there are sections of poverty in the city, it ranks as the third-cleanest in the country. And, yes, the Anchor Bar in 1964 created a specific recipe for chicken wings. In fact, there’s a National Buffalo Wings Festival in town. So, wings mean business here.

With parks designed by Frederick Law Olmstead, the Guaranty Building by Louis Sullivan, and a few buildings by Frank Lloyd Wright, a walk around the city is a cultural event. And, FYI: If you’re visiting, night life ends at 4:00 a.m. Have fun.
