It seems like every time you turn around there is a crime involving copper. Copper theft is on the rise nationally and in Western New York. The Buffalo Police Department has been tracking the copper thefts in the city.

Rochester police charged a driver with DWI after a short chase and accident in the city overnight. A Rochester police officer attempted to make a routine traffic stop around midnight on Goodman Street. When the officer tried to pull the vehicle over the driver took off.
