Carousel Museum - (716) 693-1885

I have very fond memories of the Carousel from when I was little. It is a very nice place to take children and fairly inexpensive. I really enjoy taking my son there. It is very well kept and something different for the kids to do on a rainy or snowy day. One thing is call before you go to make sure they are open. I have heard they have off hours during the week.

I highly recommend calling ahead to sign up for a tour, or you may just miss the beauty of Old Fort Niagara and pass it off as boring and unintersting. The Fort can be reached by calling 716 745-7611. Group rates are available for groups of 12 or more. My boys love going here, they always seem to have fun and enjoy themselves. It's not too expensive for the admission price, so it's an affordable family outing. Good place to see and hear about the history of Carousels. Lots of Carousel horses on display, lots to look at, and fun for the entire family. This is something fun to do on a rainy day in Western New York.
